Kaptai Navy School & College Welcomes Freshers with Cultural Fest

Rangamati’s Kaptai Navy School and College warmly welcomed the newly admitted students of Class XI for the academic year 2025–2026. The orientation program, featuring a brief discussion session and a colorful cultural event, was held on Wednesday (24 September) at the college premises.

Commodore Amanat Ullah, Commander of Bangladesh Navy Base Kaptai Shaheed Moazzem and Chairman of the institution’s Governing Body, attended as the chief guest. In his speech to the students, he said: “The college stage of education is a turning point that can transform your life. You must strive to become enlightened individuals who will build this nation.”

The program was presided over by the college’s Principal, Commander Alif Ullah. Governing Body member and Director of Chandraghona Christian Hospital, Dr. Probir Khiang, along with senior officers of the base, faculty members, and students were present. Vice Principal M. Jahangir Alam delivered the welcome address.

The audience was enthralled by a series of captivating cultural performances before and after the discussion. Renowned radio and television singer Jhulan Dutta and college lecturer Tamanna Islam directed the cultural segment, where students and guest performers presented umbrella dance, bottle dance, fusion dance, traditional jari songs, and band music. The campus resonated with the vibrance of music and dance, leaving a lasting impression on all.
