Nissorgo River Valley & Pod House, the only recognized restaurant in Kaptai upazila of Rangamati, has been awarded an ‘A’ grade for food quality by the Bangladesh Food Safety Authority. On Monday (September 8, 2025), District Food Safety Officer Mr. Saurav Roy inspected the restaurant and officially announced the grade.
In addition, 10 other restaurants in Rangamati Sadar and Municipality areas were also given ‘A’ and ‘B’ grades.
Expressing his delight at the recognition, Mr. Sarwar Hossain, Director of Nissorgo River Valley & Pod House, said:
“Our goal has always been to serve healthy and high-quality food to our guests. Receiving an ‘A’ grade from the government authority is a matter of great pride for us, and it will make our team even more responsible. We are committed to maintaining quality and providing even better service in the future.
